hi archyive

It’s believed that cacao was first used as a health elixir and ceremonial medicine as far back as 1900 BC by the ancestors of Central America, the Olmec people, before becoming a ritualistic medicine used by the Aztec and Mayan cultures. Signifying both life and fertility, it was ingested by Royalty in ceremonial God worship and in sacrificial ritual.

As Cacao enters the blood stream it releases neruotransmitters serotonin, trytophan, endorphines, and dopamine which assist with activating those feelings we get when we fall in love, as well as inducing relaxation, pain suppression and depression relief.  It is a high source of antioxidents which help to clear damaged cells from the body.  Cacao can unlock euphoric states of awareness, leading to deeper intimacy and the release negative emotions blocking the heart.

Our Sacred Cacao is lovingly prepared with the finest organic ingredients and offered as cacao nuggets to be eaten.

Heather’s Sacred Cacao Nugget Recipe
1/4 cup Raw Cacao Butter
2 tablespoons or local raw honey
pinch of Himalayan Salt
dash of cayenne pepper
dash of cinnamon
2 cups Raw Organic Cacao Powder (Cold Pressed)

In bring a pot of water to boiling.  Double boil (put a bowl over the hot water so you can melt the Cacao butter over indirect heat).  Once the Cacao butter is melted, add the Raw local honey, salt, pepper, and cinnamon. Slowly mix in the Cacao powder until it becomes a thick paste and consistency that you can roll.  Then roll into balls and cover the balls with cacao powder so that they don’t stick to each other.  Place in a Pyrex, glass or wooden container or on non toxic waxed paper.  Do not store in tin foil.

Sunday February 26th, 7pm- 9pm HT –  Solar Eclipse New Moon Sacred Sound Healing Ceremony in person at Lumeria Maui Retreat Center and on our Facebook LIVECAST!!!

This powerful Eclipse Portal which began with the Full Moon in Leo and will come to completion on Sunday’s New Moon SOLAR ECLIPSE.

As you may recall, the Full Moon in Leo Eclipse was having us look any distortions to allowing our light and gifts to fully shine. Whether we suffer from an over inflated ego or from shyness. It has been a time to get to the root of all of that, humble ourselves, ask for help where needed so that we can fulfill our life’s purpose and serve the greater good.

Similarly, the spiritual motto of Pisces is “serve or suffer.” Pisces, the 12th and last sign of the zodiac governs life giving rivers of the planet. It’s symbol is two fish tied together by a string. One fish represents the Soul and swims upstream, the other represents the personality and swims downstream. The question is, does the soul capture the personality and hence the personality/ego becomes in service to fulfilling the soul’s purpose? Or does the personality capture the soul and then becomes bound to the proclivities of the ego which might show up as spinning out of control with additions and compulsions?

Again, the key through involves having a sense of higher purpose and serving the WE rather than the Me!

During Solar Eclipse the Moon passes in front of the Sun, blocking it’s energy and creating a shadow on the Earth (more info on exact time). Once out of the line of the Sun the solar rays come blasting back giving our whole atmosphere a supercharge. What do you want to super charge now. What ever you are thinking, believing, feeling will be magnified so it is important to be clear. It’s time to do some spiritual gardening … release the old and let the Sun shine in!!!

May you emerge strengthened and renewed … clearer and with a deeper understanding of the magnificent being you are and how you can best serve at this time of the Great Change.

February 1st, 2017 — Blessings of this cross quarter holy day in the Great Wheel of the year! Known as Imbolc, Candlemas, Festival of Light, Day of Brigid and also Ground Hog Day!
It’s the mid day point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere. In the days not too long ago when people were reliant on growing their own food and making sure that they had enough provisions to last them through to the Spring when they could plant again this midway point was very important.
This was seen as a time to celebrate the return of the light and strengthen it. Interestingly as well, in the Jewish tradition this marks the 40 day period after the birth of Jeshua and was the time he was brought to the temple for presentation. It is also associated with the goddess Brigid who was the Celtic triple goddess and keeper of the Fire and bringer of inspiration! It is also a festival day for the African goddess Yemaya!
